I must say that Walgreens is growing on me week after week. As I mentioned in early January, my resolution was to branch out from my old stand by of CVS and begin frequenting Walgreens (Jan) and RiteAid (Feb). One of the things I like about Walgreens is that they do not have a store card. That means that even though the Rewards deals state limit 1, if I plan accordingly, I can score the same deal in multiple transactions.
Couple of important notes:
1-if you use a register reward from the same manufacturer to pay for another reward deal, the reward deal will not trigger . Therefore, you cannot roll the transactions one after the other (put one in between). Don't worry, all the RR's state which manufacturer gave them to you so you can prepare accordingly.
2-You must have as many products as you have manufacturer coupons, including register rewards. Walgreens in ad and store coupons do not count in the total. Although register rewards are printed at Walgreens, they state "manufacturer coupon" and therefore count in the total. Plan to bring a few "cheap" filler items to the register in case your RR gets the dreaded beep.
